Commissioned by Birmingham Music Service for the Birmingham Schools Recorder  infonia for 5 recorders and 5 viols/violin family, in collaboration with Warwickshire Music Service. Parts can be doubled to form a larger ensemble. Atmospheric music in five movements: Sunrise, Reflections, Kaleidoscope, Rainbow and Moonbeams. In Kaleidoscope the notes enclosed in boxes are to be used as a basis for simple improvisation for the duration specified, each player working independently.
